Alphabet

E is the most unfortunate character in the alphabet,. It is always out of "Cash"forever in "Debt", never out of "Danger", and in "Hell all the time.But notice that "E" is never in "War" and always in "Peace". It's the beginning of "Existence and the end of "Trouble".Without "E", we would have no "Love", "Life", or "Heaven". Go E! ~ Neeraj Jain 

YESTERDAY, TODAY, TOMORROW

There are two days in every week about which we should not worry.


Two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension.

 

One of these days is yesterday with its mistakes and cares,


Its faults and blunders, Its aches and pains.


Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control.


All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday.


We cannot undo a single act we performed.


We cannot erase a single word we said. Yesterday is gone.

 

The other day we should not worry about is tomorrow.


With its possible adversities, Its burdens,


Its large promise and poor performance.


Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control.


Tomorrow's Sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds,


but it will rise.


Until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet unborn.


This just leaves only one day . . . Today.


 

Any person can fight the battles of just one day.


It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternity's -


yesterday and tomorrow that we break down.


It is not the experience of today that drives people mad.


It is the remorse or bitterness for something which happened yesterday


and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.

Let us therefore live but one day at a time.

5 Fingers of Prayer
1. Your thumb is nearer to you, so pray for those who are closest to you.
2. Pointing finger: Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal.
3. Tallest finger: Pray for our leaders, they need God's guidance.
4. Ring finger: Weakest finger - so pray for those who are weak, troubled, or in pain.
5. Little finger: The smallest - to remind you to pray for yourself.

The Girl I Used to Be Author Unknown

She came tonight as I sat alone,


the girl I used to be,


And she gazed at me with her earnest eyes,


and questioned reproachfully,


Have you forgotten the many plans,


and hopes I had for you?


The great career,


the splendid fame,


all the wonderful things to do?


Where is the mansion of stately height,


with all of its gardens rare?


The silken robes that I dreamed for you,


and the shining jewels in your hair?


And as she spoke,

I was very sad,


for I wanted her pleased with me,


This slender girl from the shadowy past,


the girl I used to be.

 

So gently rising,


I took her hand and guided her up the stairs,


Where peacefully sleeping,


my babies lay, innocent, sweet and fair,


And I told her that these are my only gems,


and precious they are to me,


That silken robe is my motherhood,


of costly simplicity,


And my mansion of stately height is love,


and the only career I know,


Is serving each day in these sheltered walls,


for the dear ones who come and go,


And as I spoke to my shadowy guest,


she smiled through her tears at me,


And I saw the woman that I am now,


pleased the girl that I used to be!
